About us

The Bose lab is a multidisciplinary research group in the Sheffield Institute for Nucleic Acids (SInFoNiA) and the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBB) at the University of Sheffield. We started our group in spring 2017. Dan Bose is funded by a Sir Henry Dale fellowship from the Wellcome Trust and Royal Society. Our research focuses on the regulation of epigenetic-enzyme machinery and chromatin by non-protein coding RNAs, and how this regulation is disrupted in cancer and disease. We use a multidisciplinary approach, encompassing functional genomics, classical biochemistry and cryo-EM.
