Christmas trees in Firth Court
Snowy day in Sheffield today, reminding that I should post about Christmas before it come round again. Every lab needs at least three Christmas parties: 1) We made a Christmas lunch with the Twelvetrees and Thomson labs to welcome Petra and Christian to the group. Although we all fitted round the table this year, we might have to find a bigger table for next time. We might also need a bigger oven! 2) We also had a christmas lunch with other Groups on the floor; Illyana and Pete Sudbery Emma Thomson and Bin Hu's group. 3) Finally, we joined Stuart Wilsons group for a hike into the peak and back. Every lab also needs a Christmas tree, seen here complete with expert decorating from Petra and Illyana. More decorations needed for next year, I think!
