Lab has been a bit of a blank canvas until recently, waiting to get busy. Next week we have our first MBiolSci student, Christian, starting. He follows on from Jon who did some excellent work helping to start things up over the summer. We've also been recruiting our first PhD student; interviews were really exciting, and we've spoken to and contacted some incredibly talented scientists. I'm looking forward to starting some new projects in lab, and to to teaching my first couple of lecture on the final year RNA worlds course. Feels like everything is about to get very busy indeed!
